The shiurim on this website were designed to be accessed at work.
We also offer shiurim which may be downloaded to listen to as you
commute. This website provides an additional “daily dose” of learning
in the middle of the workday, for Bnei Torah whose work requires them
to be online. It provides the convenience of an online shiur with the
interpersonal experience of rebbe-talmid interaction that audio-
recorded shiurim cannot.

It is our position that Internet access is inappropriate for a Jewish home.
Bais Torah Utefilah of Passaic, New Jersey under the leadership of Rav
Menachem Zupnik, Shlita convened a panel of experts to investigate
this problem. Meor Hatorah has posted the guidelines developed by
B.T.U. on this site. We encourage any Jewish family to implement these
guidelines if for any reason it utilizes the Internet at home.
